Mr. Mallbry reported, without amendment, from the Committee on Naval Affairs, a bill to repay $750 for repairs of the Norwegian bark, Ellen, for damages sustained in receiving the passengers of the Central America. Mason introduced a resolution authorizing the Ptesident to take such measures against Paraguay as the refusal of that Republic to Wake reparation for firing Into the atcaracr Water Witch, may demand.
