TELEGRAPHED EXCLUSIVELY TO TII EVANSVII,T,K DAILY JO t J UN AL. A heavy Btorm on the line prevented the transmission of our usual telegraphic report. Tue Öhootiüo Affair in South Caruoltox, Kr. The Louisvillo Journal sajs that our version of the difficulty at South Carrol ton is unjust to Mr. Love and gives the following: Love and Little had a diilicnlty on the day of the election, which passed off with a few harsh word, without any blows. Every one thought the matter at an end, hilt a day or two afterwards. Little cursed and abused Love on the street, publicly. Love was not present, but. learning of it, sought Little, the Ma me wav. Little started towards him, as if to strike, when Lovo drew a pistol, and the matter again ended without blows. The next day as Love wasoss-king up the street, Little fired at rovc from' tho other ideot"tbc street, without giving any warning to Love. .Love afterwards fired a pistol at Little, neither shot taking effect. Thus mutters i-tood for several days. Friends intertored and endeavored to eaect a reconciliation, but failed to do 0. The parties never seeinr each other, but the first rime they did meet, Love shot Littlu killing him instantly, firing only one barrel of his gun, and not both, as wua, at first stated. " Love has been indicated for manslaughter, and held to ball for 3)00. . r The Detroit Tribune says there are SS4S barrels eqnal to 10O0 tons of topper ore from the .Wellington mine.
