Sunday morning about daylight, through some accident a young man named Maurice Heffrine, formerly from Pennsylvania, fell out of the third story window of Mr. Brose's house on Water street. The . unfortunate man fell on the brick pavement below, breaking his neck, arm and leg. When picked up a few minutes afterwards, he was dead. The proprictor of the house says the man had sore feet, and suffered a good deal from heat, and was probably sitting in the window cooling them when he accidentally fell out. There is no probability that he had any intention of killing himself. ———<>——— ACCIDENTS.—White the Democracy, were engaged in their Buchanan display last Satturday night a couple accidents occurred.— Mr. A. Rush attempted to set off a wheel with a cigar. The wheel exploded in his face, severely burning it. He came very near losing his eyes, which yesterday, morning were in a bad but not dangerous condition. Mr. Charley Sullivan had his hand badly burned by the premature explosion of a rocket.
