Freights were offering freely to Pittsburgh, Wheeling and New Orleans. The Cincinnati Commercial of Monday says: , , The Ohio is booming up lively again. From Friday night to dusk last evening, it has risen fully five feet, and was still swelling at the rate of over one inch per hour. When the Daniel Boone left Maysville on Friday, the grjver at that point was swelling rapidly. The pilots on tiie Jacob btrader report ten fret on G'r.issy Flats. In a few days, we expect to find the Falls in a navigable condition for our large steamers. A difficulty occurred at,Cincinnati last Sunday morning, between Wm. II. The matter is to undergo a legal investigation. The fast packet Rainbow will be here to-day from Louisville. It was reported yesterday that the Wm. Garvin is going to lie withdrawn from the Evansville and Louisville trade. The river was slowly rising jresterday. Altogether it has risen nearly three feet. Weather yesterday mild and cloudy. The Virginia was still engaged in loading for New Orleans all yesterday.
