Well, It is a very pleasant thin? with us at least, that we can effect such a compromise ith conscience and duty occasionally, as to per - mit of a trip to Princeton. It is a beautiful little place, and a busy place at certain times of the year, and we should think a very agreeable town for residence as we know it t) be for visiting. Friends Snell and Willard have comfortable taverns, set good tables, provide excellent beds, and are very hospitable generally, o that the traveler feels no disposition to complain of bad accommodation and thus be d:sagreeably impressed on his first acquaintance with the town. Princeton has grown a great deal since we first formed its acquaintance four or five yeirs ago, before the railroad was built. If the railroad has not greatly assisted its growth, something else has done so. There lias been a new life infused in its trade, we should judge, and a new spirit among its citizens, which have erected a number of substantial buildings, since our first visit.
