A telegraphic dispatch from Clerksvilie announces the ainking of the ateamer Republic near Dover. The cause of this mishap waa not atated. The Republic waa heavily laden for Nashville. She was owned by Messrs. French, McAllister, and Northern. The Arabia passed up early Saturday morning from St. Louis. We thank iur frienda Messrs. Cain and Williams, of the office, for pspers. This steamer haa been runnin in the Upper Mississippi trade, and ia now direct from Dubuque.
