' The Judge made a very Impressive appeal to the prisoner, which, however, failed to produce the least action. . By permUiiou, Spring made a short speech li which he renewed his assertions of his own innocence, and his sons guilt; but expressed hit willingness to die, and said he would meet his fate without a fear. .4 . . : Pittsburgh, April 16, M. About 11 o'clock they started on foot for Hudson, and were not afterwards een. About 8 o'clocu this morning blood and other evidences of foul play were discovered near tne upper bridge, and the place found where the victim was thrown into the river. One of the men seemed very much intoxicated, and appeared to have some money in his possession, and spoke about having sold a farm; therefore, suspicion rests on hi companion. The latter is an Englishman, thick set, about 5 feet 6 inchrs high. Men are engaged in searching the river, but as yet have not found the body. Philadelphia, April 13.
