TheTerre Haute Bridge, which was last winter torn down by the steamer American Star, and which was being repaired, yesterday at 5 o'clock fell, carrying with it 3 or 4 very heavy bent, some six or seven men who -are more less injured. One of the men has not been found. 3Ir. Smith, the contractor,
and his little son, were on the bridge at the time, and both were horribly mangled. Neither can recover. The loss to bridge company will be very heavy.
