Where the premiums are over $50, it requires only one quarter part in cah, instead ot the hole. 2. It allows the assured to pay yearly, quarterly, monthly or weekly. 3. No part of the profits are withheld, or diverted from the assured, either in chaiity or otherwise. 4. It has no loan, either nominal or real, to pay interest for, having a si fficient capital funded, Ironi premiums received. 5. The assured can -withdraw Lis profits, or have them to accumulate, year by year, at nis option. f. It assures to the age of 67, inbteud of stopping at CO. 7. It declares the profits yearly, instead of once in fivt or seven yc ar, and issut-a scrip yearly io the Assured, bearing C per cent interest which scrip is re deemed in eah. w hen the profits amounted to fe'ZCO,000, or allowed to accumulate at the option ot the Assured. tf. It enables a man to provide for his wife and children in such a way, that although he may lot every thing, they are safe; and all pert oris, whether married or unmarried, to provide for Old Age, Sickness and Want, as well as lor Death. 9. The Assured can surrender the policy at any time after the first year, and receive its equitable value. . ; 10. At any time after the first year, the Assured can borrow on the scrip issued, two-thirds of its a mount, so that he has nothing to fear from a change of circumstances, or inability to pay the premium. 11. Directors and Officers are chosen yearly; and the Assured votes according to his interest. v 12. The funds are all invested in United States, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts stocks, and in Real Estate in New York and New Jersey, wholly unincumbered, and of double the value leaned. . 13. It pays no Directors, no Auditors, no Solicitors. It lends money to neither. It. It does not reeon the Assured a year older thau he is but irom six months less to six months more, so as to equalize the estimate between all parties. 15. The rates are lower, the expenses lets, and the profits larger, than wi'th Foreign Oflices; investments her? y ielding from C to 7 per cent. abroad only 3 per cent. to say nothing ol 33 1-3 percent reserved; nor of interest allowed to thone who furnifh a "guoran tee capital' at the rale ol per cent, on every hundred pounds subscribed, for every ten pounds paid in ! 16.
