M. . The Senate yesterday adopted the conference committee's report. - The bill toxarry into effect the treaty .with China was passed. The'diplomatic appropriation bill was amended by limiting the mileage of members of Congress to 81,000. The Stnite then went into executive aes-aion.

" The House yesterday concurred in the amend ment of thft Senate to adiourn on the 14th of August. The bill Allowins extra par to tha marine ordnance corps was passed. Resolutions presenting the thanks of Con crrpwfn the navr and marine coma for their VW4 W mm -mm J ft gallant conduct in Mexico was passed. The remainder of the session was occupied in Ike discussion of the Oregon bill, when the debate closed and the committee rose. In lhe Senate to-day, after a long discussion of theameadoenti of the civil bill, it was laid aside. A relation from the House, for the ap pointment of a committee respecting report ing the debates of both House, waa concurred After the executive session, the discussion of the civil bill was resumed.
