t The Foiein News which we publish this morning is just twelve dayt out from Liverpool! Quick despatch. CrThe Locofocos are now raising hurrahs for the Administration over what they call "the glorious termination of the varn Let us see, what credit the Administration is entitled to for the termination of the war. When Mr. Trist failed in his first attempt at neeotia lion, the Administration ordered him to come home without waitinz to make a treaty. He did not start immediately, and the Admin - titration repeated the order in peremptory and ansry terms. Mr. Trist in renlr coollv uid that he intended to star and neeotiate a treaty if he could, whereupon the Administration in its raze ordered Gen. Butler to arrevt him and. expel him by physical force from the I country. The order however did not travel fast enough, for, when it arrived at the city of Mexico, the treaty was already negotiated. I KeveithelebS Gen. Butler fulfilled his order by ' seizing Mr. Trist and sending him out of the ' country under guard for daring to negotiate a treaty against tne express instructions of the I . Government. Mr. Trist, now In this country, ia shortly to be tried for the offence, and the Administration is determined, that, if any law can be found for his punishment, its utmost f enalty shall be visited upon him. Now under such circurastances, howjcnWu modest and rational and consistent it is on the part of I the Locofocos'to claim all the dory for the Ad...ministration on the score of the negotiation of tha Trist TreatvJ Lou.
