I 1FE being the greatest blessing, 1 surers it free irom the evil ot that which in premature death muftt be of paramount importance. Erandrcth's Pills are altogether of Vegetable com position, and while they possess remai kable powers in curing uisease, are perieciiy Harmless, anu can thus be used with perfect safety by persona of a! ages, anil in any conuition ot the system, with a cer tainty of beneficial results from their operation which is mild and pleasant, tho' thoroughly bearch ing to the root of diseased action, and always tcrnii natinii in a "real increase of health and vigor. Ni:iety-seveii yeara they have been bt lore the public, and every succeeding vtar has increased the sphere of their great use lulness. They are now pa tronued in every part of the civilized world; nor can envy nor detraction materially impair thtir will es tabii.-died reputation. These cele brated Pills do not cure entirely by their purging qualities. 1 hey have m their composition a vegetable corpuscle, analagous to the corpuscle ot the blood: the corpuscle of vegetable origin, becomes incorporated with the mass id' the life-giving fluid and im tarts a fermentative tower v'hicli occasions the blood to throw out all infestial poisonous, or ix?ccant matter, thereby entirely Duri lying the whole volume of blood in the circulation. And thus these 1 ills cure the most lata!, and noxiou t . ana harrasing eiiseaset;, in a manner to easy and certain, as to give great thankfulness to th; at liicted. ...... Can any other medicine be pointed out that has sustained its reputation that has increased in the confidence of the public in an equal proportion f It would I a moft happy thing for th poor, it the prejudices ot .Medical men would permit their gene ral adoption in the public Hospitals. What a bless ing this would be to the poor, and also to the whole community in w liich the Hospitals are situated! No Ship I'Vvet would long remain to poison our at mos phere with its noxious exhalation! No malady no not even Cholera, would l ot a dangerous character were lirandreth's Pills viaorouslv resorted to wht-ti the fittt of its symptoms were perceived. And in case ot rheumatism and dropsy, and the various forms ol lung disea.-e, no medicine is capable of doing more good; or whose use would tend more to the recovery 01 health. These Facts, Dr. I'r.ANpnrrn troclaims, are SOLEMN TKUTHS. Let our Legislatures and men in authority every where look to this. If thefc things be so is it not a part of th'ir hieh duty to cause the Brandreth Pills to be used bv our glorious Army and Navy, and in all public Hospitals! In Indiana ana Illinois, thesickness was so general, that there was not enough well persons to attend upon the sick, whose sutfi rings were prctracted by a want of proper remedies, as well as of good nursing. Much of this suffering might have been prevented, had every fam :ly kept on hand a supply of medicines suited to counteract the effects of this miasma, with which the atmosphere at certain times is surcharged. In addi tion to Quinine, (which is in such general use as to need no comment,) we would strongly urge every family to keep on hand one or more boxes of "Da. M'Laxe's Liver Pills." These Pills are the prescription of anemineetfrhysician in Monongahala Co. Virginia, and were used by him in his private practice as a remedy in billious omplaints, for years before he thought of offering them to the public. Such, however, was the success to the Pills, and so great the number of persons beuefited by them, that the making of the quantity requisite to supply the increasing demand, began to interiere materially with the time required to attend to his practice. Topievent this he has made arrangements with the house of J.Kidd &. Co. No. 6e Wood Street, Pittsburg, Pa. to prepare and vend them, where the genuine may be procured at all times and in atty reasonable quantity. These Pills are not recommended as a panacea for 'all the ills that flesh is heir to," but in all affections -f the Liver and in all bilious complaints, they stand without a rival.
