Clark Veatch, one of Clay county's oldest, best known and prominent citizens, was found dead in bee! Wednesday morning, from paralysis of the heart, lie was subject to paralytic troubles, as a few years ago, while on his way to Staunton, h* suddenly lost the sight of one of his eyep, which orb remained sightless until his death. He was prominent in Clay county politics, having represented he county for two terms in the state legislature. He was 70 years of age.
