Washington Gazettf: Nelson Johnsou, of this township, returned home from an extended visit to Kansas the other day to learn that his old ssddle mare-had died in his absence at the unusual age of 33 years. The mare was a rnoat remarkable animal. In her life she gave birth to sixteen colts that averaged 8100 each, one of them selling for that sum at weaning time.
