Notice is hereby given to all receivership creditors, and to al) nolders of the bonds of the Paris & Decatur Railroad Company, who have been adjudged to be entitled to payment or dividends out or the funds in court to the credit of these causes, and to all others entitled to any portion of said funds, that pursuant to an order of said court entered May 27, 1889, they are required to apply to the undersigned, special commissioner, for the sums to which t&ey are respectively entitled, on or before the first day of January, A. VINCENSES, Ind., Jane 12.—There wee a terrible murder end anicide three miles south of thie city this morning, Seth Murray, a farmer, aged 55, shooting his wife in the abdomen with a rifle, and afterwards arming himself with a cornknife and severing her head from her body while she lay dying from tbe effect of the gun-shot wound. Making sure of her death, Mr, Murray then ran into the yard and uncovered a "bottle of- pruasic acid which he had concealed, swallowed the contents, and died almost instantly. Jealousy is supposed to have been tbe cause. The deceased were tbe parents of six children.
The Flood la Clay County.
Special to the Express. BRAZIL,, Ind., June 12.—Brazil has had no communication with Clay City since Friday of last week, excepting as tbe pressure of business baa foroed a few of the citizens of the south end to the county seat to come in on foot, or by way of Bowling Qreen, with horse and buggy. The flood is reported to have so badly washed out the wagon road approaching the river bridge at the old Feeder dam, that it ia dangeroua to attempt to tiavel it. There has been no mail delivery at offices along the E. A I. line south, only as private parties have carried it out from this place. Farmere from Eel river report that corn and wheat on the high bottom ia but little damaged, but tbat the greater part of the corn on the low ground will have to be re-planted. But little hot aun following the receding of the water has been favorable on crops.

Sunday night a fine Jereey cow owned by M. Chitten, of Mt. Carmel, was attacked by a large boar, while lying down, and BO badly injured by its tusks that death ensued in a few hours.
Chris Bland, living in Eel river bottom, Clay county, chewed lead into the form of a bullet, with which he loaded his rifle and Bhot himself to death. He was in ill health, and bad been deserted by his wife.
The citizens of Saline, City held a meeting the other evening and organized themselves into a body to enforce the law and keep better order on their streets in general, especially to Btop marj ble playing and swearing on Sunday.
Viacennes Cotnthorcial: Fred R^el, a wealthy farmer living at Jordanville, had his leg broken while loading saw logs a few days ago. His horses reared while he held them by the bits. In their descent they trampled him beneath their feet.
A few daya ago a party of men with blackened faces called on Mrs. John Sullivan, living near Higginville, 111., during the absence of her husband, and ordered her and her children out of the house, when the parties tore down the building, destroyed the furniture, etc. Two of the men who engaged in the work were arrested Tuesday, and one fined $50 and the other acquitted. No cause is known for the deed.
