A little 3-yeare-old son of Volney Shattuck strolled away from bis home, in the east end of the city, yesterday (Sunday) morning about eight o'clock, and waa not found before eight in the evening, aa many as five hundred people having joined in tbe anxious search for the little wanderer, who was found at a house out on Otter creek, two miles north-of the city, safe and sound, eating bis aupper.
The Brazil correspondent of Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and other metropolitan papers committed an egregious and unpardonable error in reporting the appraised valuation of Brazil township, by saying that it includes no farmers, from which the inferences will be drawn abroad that there are no farmers in the township, and that the whole territory of 6*4 miles is covered by the city. The truth ia that there are a number of farms and farmers, the city limits not including more than half the area of the township.

R., the Sons of Veterana and Paria light infantry, headed by the Cadet band, marched out to the cemetery yesterday afternoon and completed the memorial exercises postponed from May 30, by decorating tbe soldiers' graves. The weBther was ail that could be wished, and nearly tbe entire town was present and witneesed the ceremonies.
