A Woman's Discovery.
"Another wonderful discovery has been made and that too by a lady in this county. Disease fastened its clutches upon her and for seven years she withstood its severe tests, but her vital organs were undermined and death seemed Imminent. For three months she coughed incessantly and could not sleep. She bought of us a bottle of Dr. King's New Discovery for consumption and vras so much relieved on taking first dose that she slept all night and with one bottle has been miraculously cured. Her name is Mrs. Luther Lutz." Thus write W. C. Hamrick & Co., of Shelby, N. C.—Get a free trial bottle at all drug stores. .c
The Verdict Unanimous,
W. D. Suit, druggist, Bippus Ind., testifies: "I can reccommend Electric Bitters as the very best remedy. Every bottle sold has given relief in every case. Abraham Hare, druggist, Bellvillfc Ohio, affirms: "The best selling medicine 11 have ever handled in my twenty years' experience, is Electric Bitters." Thousands of others have added their teeti-1 mony, so that the verdict is unanimous that Electric Bitters do cure all diseases of the liver, kidneys or blood. Only a half dollar a bottle at all drug stores.
Consnuiptlon is on the Increase.
From recent statistics it appears that consumption is on the increase throughout the western states. The principal causa, it is stated, is due to neglect of common coughs and colds. It is the duty of all persons whether of delicate or robust health, to have a remedy at hand at all times in readiness, and a cough or cold may be broken up before becomes seated. Auotber Day of Weakness In Wheat at Chicago Yesterday. CHICAGO, May 17.—The wheat crowd was dls-1 posed to be a 1'ttle bullish when the board opened. This feeling was not because of the crop conditions, or on account of any favorable news. In fact tbe news was all against the bull side. Most traders appeared to be simply working on the idea that the price was low, that there had been three days of declining prices, and that a reaction was due. The demand for wheat at the start held the price steady around 76%ffi77Kc, for some little lme, but there wis good selling by S. V. White, by Hutchinson, and Dy Partridge. The result was a break to 76VSC. Baxter, Norton-WorthlngUm, and McCormlck A Co. were good buyers. After a long period of dullness, during which July wheat ranged around 76»@76ftc, there was a bulge to 77c on news of nine boat loads of wheat taken for export at Baltimore. The advance was not maintained. News came in from Mew York that Gruner, one of the heaviest "longs" In the trade there, was selling out On this July reacted to 775bc. The oSldal croo report of the state of Kansas makes a 24 per Ant. Increase In the wheat acrease, and puts the condition at 100. Crop and weather reports from all sides are very favorable to growing crops. Liverpool cables quote wheat tending lower, and receipts at the Northwest continue lane. Minneapolis receipts for the day were 61,000 bu. Clearings of wheat from New York were 122,000 bo, of flour 2S,000 brli and sacks. Philadelphia cleared 10,000 bu wheat Baltimore nothing.
Corn was weaker. The large receipts present and prospective, the excellent growing weather, and the weakness In wheat were the main depressing influences. Cudahy andUndUom wen the principal sellers early, though no large lots wen put oat. It is expected that now that farmers are through with their spring work they will commence marketing corn.
Receipts wen 30 cars winter wheat, S ears spring. 613 cars com, and 192 cars oats by rail and 4,400 bu winter wheat by canal. Withdrawals from store wen 10,449 bu winter wheat, 28,217 bu spring, 254.132 bu corn, and 268^66 bu uata.
Estimated receipts for to-morrow an Sean wheat, 612 cars corn. 193 cars oats, and 8.U00 hoga. Tbe provision trade was dul'. Receipts of hoga I at tbe yards were only 16,000 bend and piieea wen
