Mrs. H. W. Davy and son went to Vincennes yesterday, to visit Mrs. Davy's brother, who is ill.
Mrs. Maude Rosenfeld, formerly of this city, leaves this evening for Clarksville, Tenn., to visit her mother-in-law.
Mrs. N. li. Brewer, of Tiffin, Ohio, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Dr. Shaley, left for her home yesterday aftternoon.
Mr. J. M. Sargent, of the Military band, left this week for New Orleans, where he will take a place with RobinBon's band.
Messrs. John W. Cooley and A. H. Boegeman went to Sedalia, Mo., yesterday to attend the funeral of Mr. Cooley's brother to-day.
Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Plotner were pleasantly surprised by a large number of their friends, at their home on east Main street, Monday evening, in honor of their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Supper was served and the party broke up at a late hour, having spent a most pleasant evening.
