A medicine that has been a household remedy for over fifty years and used in that time by more than 150,000,000 persors must have great Mnerit. Such a medicine is found in Brandreth's Pills. This fact illustrates the value of these pills better than any statement of the proprietors. It will be observed that the dose required to cure is small. One or two pills taken every night fer ten or twenty days will cure dyspepsia, costiveness, rheumatism, liver complaint, all feiOale complaints and weaknesses. 1

Frozen Justice.

When Judge Mack opened court yesterday, in the Circuit, the room was SYRUP. Price cento 1 bottle,

very cold. In the vicinity of the judge's bench the mercury in a thermometer registered 48 degrees above. It was most too cold Cor the court and attorneys and they joined the small circle, of spectators around the stovp. It required considerable time for the room to become comfortabl?.

GEHEBAL LOGAS'8 SUDDSH DEATH Is a great shcck to the nation. Few knew that he was even indie poet "d when the news of his death flashed over the wires and thousands cf people stood aghast at the sudden charge from health and vigor to cold A silent death. For the past twenty^ve years there has been no man moie constantly before the public than General John A. Logan. Through all his career he has been noted for hi9 fearkssntss ynd purity of character, both in public and private life. Loved by friends and respected by enemies he will be mourned by all.

His death adds anoLbor to the lo ig list of victims to sudden and acute rheumatism. Probably no disease is so common as rheumatism, none is more sudden or dangerous, and there is certainly nonie which so completely b?flies medi- at skill. t)nly one remedy has yet been discov ered which is a sure and safe cure for rheumatism and its twin disease, neuralgia, and that is Athlophoros. In thousands of cases Athlophoros has proved 1 [uick and certain cure for these diseases, connection with Athloi horos Pills it has never yet failed to speedily effect a cure.

In all probability many deaths attrib uted to heart disease are caused by these terrible diseases, which are fat more dangerous than is generally considered.

Rheumatism, even though in a very mildfoim is extremely dangerous, for it is liable at any moment to go to the heart and cause instant death. Why trifle with a disease so fatal when a certain cure can be obtained of any druggist.

Every druggist should kebp Athlophoros and Athlophoros Pills, but where they cannot be bought of the druggist the Athlophoros Co., 112 Wall St., New York, will send either (carriage paid) on receipt of regular price, which is $100 per battle for Athlophoros and 50c. for Pills.

For liver and kidney diseases, dyspepsia, indigestion, weakness, nervous debility, diseases of women, constipation, headaohe, impure blood, eto., Athlophoros Pills ate uneqoaled.
