On Saturday the skeleton of the building was received by the commissioners and $49,000 paid to the contractors. The damage to the buildings of Ellis' Woollen Mills caused by the recent cyclone were repaired last Monday, and on Tuesday morning the mill started up in all departments. Daring the recent heavy rains water poured in on the machinery and as yet all has not been placed in running order.

Themarriageof Mr. Charles A.Steevens and Miss Mary J. O'Reilly was solemrized at St. Joseph's Church yesterday morning at 5 o'clock. The Rev. Father McEvoy performed the ceremony. Besides the relatives of the bride and groom quite a large number of their friends were in attendance. Mr. Stevens is well known ia this city and has many friends. Miss O'Reilly is the daughter of Mr. P. B. O'Reilly, of the county clerk's office, and has been ope of our moet popular young ladies. The happy couple started on a bridal trip soon after the ceremony and will be absent some time in their travels in the east. A large number of costly presents were' received.
