Mr. Francis B. Yocom died at his resl dence, in Dick Johnson township, on Saturday, aged 77 years. Mr. Yocom twice represented Clay county In the lower house of the State legislature, and was a member of the constitutional convention In 1850. He was a man of sterling common sense, and was wellknown and' much respected. He was a son of William Yocom, one of the earliest settlers In northern Clay county, and a brother to Isom and Jesse Yocom. both of whom are.. deceased. As hisfemains were being removed from his residence for interment, a niece, Mrs. Marlon Garrigus, who had been somewhat constant In attendance during his illness, dropped dead of heart disease.
