Schlltz' Milwaukee Beer.

The lager beer of the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company, of Milwaukee, is undoubtedly the best beer manufactured and sold, as the same is free from any and all adulteration, and' pronounced so repeatedly by the best chemists in the country. In the manqfacture of this beef nothing is used but the best malt and hops of this country and Europe, and the water used is obtained from two wells, each of which is about 1,000 feet deep. Nearly all the practising physicians in the city have recommended our beer in preference to any other to their sick ana convalescent, when necessary. Also recommended to mothers who, on account of delicate health, are not in a condition to give nourishment to their infants as they demand. To show the popularity-of our beer, we will only Btate that the sale of 1871 amounted to 12,283 barrels, and of 1883, 307,529 barrels, an increase of 205,246 barrels in twelve years, or an average increase per year of 24,604 barrels, the largest increase of any brewery jn the United States. All persons who drink beer, either in saloons or at home, should call for or use our beer, thereby being served with the beat and healthiest beer ever sold here.

Orders for bottle or keg beer, either by telephone, personal or written notice, wilt be promptly attended to.

This evening Louis Harrison and John Gourlay, two of the best fun makers on the stage, will present their new play, which is commended by all who have seen it One writer says One might as well hope to successfully photograph a laugh as describe this piece or say why it is funny. It simp ly and sublimely defies analjwis. Its Bole object is to raise a breeze. The breeze which Harrison and Gourlay haveraised.by it has gone quite beyond their control, and grown to an unmanageable magnitude of a cyclone. The most imperturable nature goes down before it without a show of resistance, and everybody rolls and shakes and laughs. Nothing in the way of farcical invention that has been seen here in recent years can be compared to it for rapid action, novel situations and entangled complications, all arising logically from a lark of two well-mannered Philadelphia' clerks, and the loss of Mrs. Obadiah Dingle's baby by a thoughtless servant.

Bnckland in Terre Hante. Buckland, the man who called on General Sherman, in St. Louis, and wanted to marry one of the general's daughters-, will be remembered as-a "crank" who made dry-goods box speeches here in '76. He was looked upon as a crank, and. by all regarded as such.
