Brazil Enterprise. Court will adjotirn Saturday of next week. The term will have been largely consumed in the trial of a few cases, some of which were of unusual length. The docket, however, is in better shape than it has been for a number of years before, and in the coatee of a few terms will be thoroughly under control.

A new style of coal cars are being manufactured and aria coming into quite general use, which will greatly facilitate transportation and in some measure obviate the customary embarrassments incident to the scarcity of cars. They are constructed with enlarged capacity being able to carry twenty tons each, which is from six to eight tons more than tbe capacity cf those formerly in nse.

Owing to the unusual mildness of the winter, the local demand for coal for domestic purposes falls very much short of what it was during last winter. However, the shipments show that the nam* ber ot cars sent out each month this winter, are nearly or quite equal' to tho?e of corresponding months of laat wiBter, from which it mnst be inferred that the demand for this coal is extending to more remote points and is being used more largely fo* manufacturing purposes. With the same local demand, the trade of this season, would be largely in exoess of last.

J. H. Djvereux, preeident of the Bee Line system, is the authority for the statement that it is now understood tbat the Bee Lioe people will continue to operate the Indianapolis & St. Louis road for the year to come, under the same agreement as that of last year. He further states that there is no change in officials contemplated, either on the Indianapolis &St. Louis road, or on any division east of Indianapolie and, should tbe exchange of railroad property spoken of yesterday morning be carried out, the management of the Bee Line system, or Ohio railway, would remain tbe same as now, unless some official by resigning can better his condition. He states that during the past year several hundred thousand dollars had been expended in improving the roadbed and equipments of the I. &. St. L. and the next #ear a large sum of money would be expended in the same direction, but net so large a sum as in 1881, as most of the stone masonry and heavy bridge work was now completed.

X'OTHER

SIDE.

For years past it has been customary for railway managers to warn their employes that any failure to pay their debts would be considered sufficient cause for dismissal. Col. Talmage, general manager of the Missouri Pacific, yesterday morning issued a circular taking the other, and probably the most just, view of the case. He warns all persons that whosoever may see fit to give credit to his employes that all men are paid their salaries when due, and that in the future the railroad company will refuse to be the collection agency for any little grocery store or saloon keeper who choses to give credit to employes. Not only will the company refuse to recognize any garnishment, but tbey will resiat tbe right to garnishee with the company's money snd attorneys.-

For over two years 1 have not had any heart or lung trouble. I enjoy perfect health. You have my hearty thanks and best wishes. James Fagg,

Terre Haute, Ind.

This man is a former, and lives eight miles east of this city. 2 5 I Dr. J. S. Jordan.

De»r Sir: I cannot express my gratitude to you in rescuing me from a true consumptive's grave. Tbe beet Terre Haute physicians told me I could not recover. When you first came to me part of my right lung was gone. I had no expectation of ever leaving my bed, and even had my burying clothes made. You gave me words of cheer, and I thank God I am well again. I have gained over thirty pounds. I wi«h all sufferers from consumption could know ot your treatment. Hundreds of people, and some of tbe btst physician in the city will endorse what I say in this. Use this as you see proper.

They are prepared to do promptly Tin and Slate Roofing Plumbing, and Tin and Sheet Iron Work of every description They guarantee satisfaction in work and prices.

«^An Enviable Reputation. It is with pleasure we allude to the manufactures of the well known chemists. Joseph Burnett & Co., of Boston. They have won by their merits and attractiveness a place beyond that occupied by any other similar manufactured goods in this country.

Their Cocoaiue for tbe hair, and a superior Cologne water, have become famous for their excellence.

In addition to these preparations nre Burnett's Standard Flavoring Extracts for cooking purposes, and we can not show better evidence of their superiority than by referring onr readers to the testimonials of all the leading popular hotels in the country. These are published in Burnett's Floral Hand-Book, an attractive and valuable little pamphlet which is diatri'jated gratuitously by the trade.

All respectable dealers sell Burnett's select goods, and all lovers of choice things will do well to bny tfcem in preference to the cheap and itnpnre articles now in the market. ffv! iff m.
