The building of the Northern Pacific Railroad, (begun July last,) is being pushed forward with great energy from both extremities of the line. Several thousand men are employed in Minnesota and on the Pacific coast. The grade is nearly completed si66 miles westward from Lake Superior trains are running over ISO miles of hnished road, and track-laying is rapidly progressing toward the eastern boarder ot Dakota.
