Tlie Shivering? Season.

~Tho loss of the laboring classes of tho Unitod States caused by fever and ague, has been estimated at upwards of two millions of dollars per annum. Whole settlement arc sometimes prostrated by the disease, and it is regarded in some localities, as one of thoso visitations of providence which cannot be avoided. This is a mistake. As certainly as any of the evils which aro invited by neglect may be forestalled by precaution—so certainly may an attack of intermittent (or remittent) fever be prevented by invigorating the system with llostetter's Stomach Bitters, in advance of Hie season, at which this malady prevails. Prevention, it is needless to say, is tho wisest policy but it is consoling to know that where time has not been thus taken by tho forolock, and the proxsymshavo actually commenced, a complete cure may, in all cases, bo rapidly effected by the use of this powerful vegetable tonic. Tho reputation of tho Bitters as a specific for dyspepsia, liver complaint, consumption and ncrvious debility, has in some measure thrown into tho shade its merits as a preventive and cure of other ailments, but all who havo ever taken it, either as a protection against or a remedy for malarious lovers, will admit that it surpassess in efficiency all the so-called specifics (including quinine,/ usually prescribed for theso maladies, while it is at the same time entirely harmless and decidedly palatablo. sp7dwlw

A Force Feed Drill, Operated by Spur Gearing. No Loose Cog Wheels About It!

Impossible to Choke it-The Feed Changed ia One Second—Will Sow Any Kind of Grain or Seed. Whether Clean or Foul.

The grain is distribited by means of small double spiral feed wheels working in cups under the hopper these wheels carry the grain upwards to a discharge opening in tho cup and force it out, and with it force out straw other obstructions. It is utterly impossible to choke it, and as evidence of this fact tho wheat wo havo in our sample machine is halt chaff, and by turning tho wheel it is carried through as woll as clean wheat.

It will sow_ any kind of grain, and in any quantity desired. In other force feed drills to change the feed you remove one cog wheel and putin another and tho cog wheels aro loose and liable to be lost. In tho
