A nisi'ATCH dated Kokorno, the' IKh, gives some interesting intelligence of the i!u? iloings of the Northferto Indiana Conferenoe:

The only im|ortant feature of the conference tonlay was the Kinnan case. It was called lip by the Bishop promptly.— Presiding Klder Mahin ojtenen in a speech declaring his right to accept Kinnan's parchments. Kinnan had sought the girl, Carrie Dunning, after his withdrawal at Crawfordsville, and had her under his caro ever since. Thi Rev. O. V. liemon and J. H. V. Miller spoke.— 'flu# llew Dr. Bowman made a powerful plea tV»r Kinnan. The policy, of the church is not to allow a jerson to withdraw under damaging charges that Kinnan was excited and nearly cnuy when he ^withdrew. He offered a substitute for Good's resolution, asking a committee to inquire whether any grounds for the charges against Kin nan exist. Elder

The Dominion Government has concentrated a large body of troop at
