CONCLUSION.

The Republican party is yet in its youth, fresn and vigorous, and while its achievements have been vast its work is s, not finished. _...

Its principles are those of Liberty, Progress, Development and Power, and ^if perseveringly administered will give to to our people happiness and prosperity, and conduct our country to a pride of grandeur and glory of which the scenes of '5 -, the Revolution had no vision. Already the victories inscribed on the Republican

Banner are wholly without parallel in the chronicles of party. The rebellion suppressed, the Union preserved, universal liberty, equal eivil **?:3 rights, the citizenship of all, reconstruction of the rebel States, the detraction of fe courts, and among all impartial suffrage.

The part at least is secure, and it should be our duty and pleasure to see that the future of the Republican party S shall be bright, as honorable and glorious

to the nation.

10^= With a good ticket, a sound platform, harmony in onr ranks, and with a faith^fal expedition of our principles, we must 4and will succeed. But we must have harmony the interest of the individual must be subordinate to the success of the "great principles we advocate, v" If there be wn

The letter also says G.
