I came to this country, not. as your local editor taid at the time of my deparlure, to purchasorails,but for the purpose of informing uiyselt and uiy couipauies, tho E. & U. and tho E. T. & C. Railroad Companies, how and where the best iron rails could be had for tho leaBt money.

Tho rail question is the most serious one presenting itself to Railroad Companies.
