The President of the Atlantic Bank, Brooklyn, has applied to the assessor to reduoe tbe stlbount of personal property assessed on it to one-half. Three more arrests made to-da/of persons concerned in frauds on the revenue by the reatampiog of cancelled stamps. One of tbe parties arrested yesterday contrived to get information to a confederate, who burned several thousand dollars worth of the cleaned stamp?, which were, ready for disposal.
It is stated that more than $50,000 In cancelled stamps, which had been resold, have been traced and a large part of tbem are nbw Jn tfce possession ot tbe police. Several more arrests are expected tonight, including several porters and clerks la banking houses and brpkers.offices in, Broad and Wall streets.

A special from titwrence, Kansas, 4 b, says Hon. Sidnev Clark, Chairman of tbe Committee on Indian Affairs, returned tarda#- from the Oiage Indian Reservecouncil with the Chiefs and Counsellois of the naticn cn Sunday lust. Three ot tbe five bands composing the tribe were represented. He informed tbe Indians he htd met them for tbe purpose of hearing what they bad to say iu regard to ihe treaty of May, 1865, commonly knows as the "81urges Treaty," whereby the Osages had agreed to sell their lands to Sturgea, on the Leavenworth, Lawrence and Galveston Bailrokd, for 19 cents per acre. Thirty cbiefa and head men were present and insisted on denouncing the treaty as a fraud and swindle^ They claim it was procured by thretts hnd promise of bribes to aome of the chief and half breeds, and ask that it be not confirmed. They also cotnplaia that their annuities are not paid accoining to treaties, and that tbe agent when he pays them fails to give them all that is due- That the whites are settling on tlteir resstrvktions and destroying their timber, contrary to the terose of former treaties, and that they are swindled and cheated on all sides. Mr. Olark bas a resort of theirweec nes, and will proceed to Wtthiogtato ro a few days for the purpose of laying their grievance* before the graftal end bxlian Bureau. There are upwards of 1500 white Settlers on the reservation, and hundreds are going on every day.
