IjOSOK, June 30.—An amendment W the Irish Church bill vu adopted test night in the House ef Lord*, by 130 to 74.
Last evening the HooBe of Lords went into Committee on the Irish Church bill and discussed it during almost the entire session. The Sari of Denham opened in a long speech and defended the Irish Catholics from the charge of indifference to the question of disestablishing. He affirmed the Irish regarded it as an act cf injustice.
Earl Grsy fatoved lb an&nd the ble in some alight particulars. Sari Granville opposed the proposition for concurrent endowment, and considered it altogether impracticable.
The Bishop of Oxford regarded 'the question as already fixed. He thought, however, no portion of the fetid baght to be secularized. After, providing for the cbarch, the religious necessities of other bodies oaght to be aided.
The Marquis of Salisbury supported the principle of concurrent endowment in along speech. After long discussion Earl Gray withdrew his opposition, and the 'consideration of the preamble was postponed. Earl Caernovon moved sub•titution of the words "1872'' la the 13th clause in place ot u18?l," as the date of disestablishment

Mr. Sullivan defended the conduct cf the present government respecting Fecian ism, aud accused Mr. Moore of endeavoring to make political capital by pandering to the passions of those who have been convicted. He hoped the time will goon have arrived when such di cission shall cease and no political prisoners remain in custody.
On a division, the first'part of the reso* ution was lost by 30 to 171. Mr. Maguire said it was impossible to preserve the latter part as the former ^portion had been negatived. He admit* tad the general sympathy of the Irish With jpenUnism, but thought no harm would result if the government extended clemency and released the prisoners now in custody. The latter part of the motion was negatived.
House adjourned at 2 40 a. The Times commenting on the debate jU tht Efcpteof Commons last night says, the'maln consideration of the government is, the efect which the release of the pris. oners will have. It must beremembertd that all those who were guilty in an inferior degree have been set fft, only the jpime knovers or active agents remain, all of whom have been Sentenced to long terms of imprisonment which a small portion has escaped. $he misery brought upon individuals and society, and the check to the proeperity of Ireland, which they had caused, forbid their release if usttce requires satisfaction. Tv mV

The itinqtion between political and other offences cannot be admitted in the ease of men, who, with insufficient oanse and no prospect of success, carried out tt.eir designs with treachery, cruelty and murder. Much discussion eQsued and at length the House of Lords divided, and the question was carried, for 130, sgainit 74.
The clauses from numbers 2 and 12 in* elusive were then agreed to without. dis» cusslon. in the House of Commons last night Mr. Moore called attention to the treatment of Fenian prisoners, and moved resolutions that the government ought to institute public inquiry into the subjects of penal discipline and reclassification of prisoners, to Inquire how far political prisoners should be regarded as a separate class, and consider how far th* severity, of past punishment may be regarded as reasonable ground for the favorable consideration of their case.
Mr. Moore said he believed the nngbrity of the Irish people sympathized with Fenians, though unwilling t& Subvert the «*ist)ng government, and con(ent to bear their present ills rather than fly to others (hey know not of. But no class ^iras coit" tented with the present state of affairs.— He strongly condemned the harsh treat* meat of Fenians both t*fore"anl &fter trials, and urged public inquiry -thereinto
Mr. Bruce, the Home Secretary, was not prepared to defend the treatment of Fenians, but eaid in general the law was sijifltqiehvto deal With political prison^ r.
