DxxaoiT. MICH., May 31.—Six pn era escaped from the jail in this city yesterday noon. Among them, Johnson, who attempted to assassinate Allan Fin* kerton, and Via. Dayton, a convicted pickpocket. The lock of the inner doot bad been taken off for repairs, leaving the prisoners confined by the outer door only. The jail at the hour named was left in charge of a boy of seventeen yoara, dor* iog whose absence in the basement, the door was unlocked by false keys and the prisoners walked out and, proceeded, to Canada. A reward of five hundred dol lars is offered for the return of Johnson, and one hundred for each of the others. ft
