Bcbolabt.—The residence of Mr. H. H. Teel, north Fifth atreet, was entered by burglars yesterday morning about three o'clock, and some two hundred dollars worth of silver ware taken. Mrs. Teel was awakened by a pair of tonga being thrown down, but supposing it to be accidental, the fact of the noisio^belag oauaed by the burglars was not discovered until too late to givejm alarm.-
Since the above was in type we loara the residences of Mr. J. R. Tillotson, on Fifth street), .and Mr. S. K. Allen on Fourth street were entered the same night At Mr. Tiliotson's the burglars got about $60"WOfHToT silverware. Mr. Allen lost only his pants. The burglars were evi» dently good judges of ware, aa at Mr. Tiliotson's they took only the solid silver" ware, leaving the plated undisturbed.
There can be no mistake that there is a gaBg of burglars and thieves injU^i oitv, and onr petfple cannot be too careful in guarding their households at night.
