ST. Lotrrs, May 7,—-It is announced that Tom Allen, the pugilist, after witnessing the deposit of the second three hundred dollars in tbe match between him and McCoole to-tight, will leave for Gincinnati to-morrow, and will go ioto training.
McCoole, it is said, baa reduced himself twenty-pounds in the past three weeks, and is in good condition and doing well. It is not expected that he will get below two hundred pounds. He now weighs two hundred and twenty-three.

The excursion train on tbe Central road, witb the Commissioners and Gov. Stanford and guests, was nearly wrecked yesterday by a large tree whien had fallen across the traok. The obstruction was discovered in lima to preaerye tbe passenger ears uninjured, but the locomctive was damaged and thrown off the track.
