This city is becoming the scene of extensive railroad rivalries and enterprises. It was rumored on tbe street last night that tho Pennsylvania Central Railroad Company were endeavoring to lease the Indianapolis and Cincinnati Railroad.4-To-day it is said that the negotiations have been completed, but this is considered rather premature. Tbe Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, the rival of the Pennsylvania Central, is greatly interested ih the matter, and will prevent its accomplishment if possible. Should tbe Pennsylvania Central succeed, its next move will be to cet possession of the Indiana--polis and Terre Haute-and Alton Roads thus forming a continuous line Louis.
