Tfis Now Albany Commercial says of tbe recent railroad meeting at Mitchell: The best spirit pervaded the meeting, and the able speeches delivered, particula«y those of Ool. Edwards and W. Tuell, Esq., of Terro Haute, and Dr. E. Newland, of New Albany, produced the best effect. The vast mineral and agricultural wealth that the building of this road would develop, was shown up by the speakers, and the certainty that the road could be built if the proper effort was put forth, seemed to animate all present with a determination to take hold of the anterprise with energy and earn* jeitnees.
