T. Nott and John Romine were arrested yesterday for illegal voting. On oxamins at ion before Esq. Denehie, they were re quired to give bond in tho sum of two hundred dollars each for their appearance at tho Circuit Court, which was given. Langford Peek was also required to givo bond in a similar sum for making a false affidavit for John. Duffer, an illegal voter. Duffer succeeded in making his escape from the city before arrest. "Warrants are out for the arrest of several other illegal voters.

When using these words 1 did aot mean dry up hurrahing for Grant, but I did mean the throwing of stones, as I had been informed wasoeing done from that locality, and when I passed over from the opposite side of tho street to where I was informed •tones came from, I repeated "Dry it up."
