red at a Democratic mee'ing at Lebanon, Boone county, to day, causal by the town marshal attempting the arrest of a number of the White Boys in Blue for alleged drunkenness and disorderly conduct. During tbe molee a number of shots were fired in the crowd. Thos. King, marshal, was shot in tho head and seriously, bat not fatally wounded. One of his assist* ants, Jas. Hazlerig, was shot through the thigh.
Other disturbances occurred during the afternoon at a browery, and one malt badly beaten.
