THURSDAY MORNING the Express de* clared that five companies of the Fighting Boys in Blue had been organized at the old Court House the night before with tiocutymore men in each company than the rule required. Yesterday morning, however, tho columns of that paper contained several notices, over the signatures of the proper offieors, urging radical veterans to fall into lino and fill up these same companies to tho maximum of thirty men each !—Journal.

Tho unblushing impudence of tho above tissue of lies is apparent by referouce to what we did say. In th« report of tbo proceedings wo said: "Considerable discussion was bad as to the best means of effecting the organization, but the motion of CaptainEd Allen, 71st Indiana—to organir.o fivo companies of thirty mon each and permit tho companies to elect a Second Lieutenant to recruit the maximum—prevailed. Tho soldiers present wero therefore divided into five companies which numbered 20 men to each mpany more than tho motion intended."

The ru)r of the orgsnizatiou places 30 mon as tho minimum and 101 as the maxi mum. Tho "scvoral notices" tho Journal speaks of were calls to fill up the companies to tho maximum, in accordance with tho motion, and is rapidly being acootB' plishod. 4 iJ

MOST BITTERS of tho projnnt day ha are loudly puffed through the newspapers as having great tonic and curative properties are vilo compounds ind base impositions, containing no medical virtues whatever, and are really very poor whisky beverages and, instead of acting as a stimulant and tonic, have a tendency to weaken the stomach by entirely destroy ing the coating. The public should therefore bo very cautions, and purchase none but Boback's Stomach Bitters, which have stood tho test as a remedial agent for many years, and are really as their name indicate, a stomach bitters, and not a beverage. They combine the properties of the best tonic and a stimulant—a gentle laxative, an efficient anti-bllliouB agent and the beat stomachic known to the world, and, when taken in conjunction with Roback's Blood Pills, are the safest and surest preventative against all billious derangements, thoroughly regulating the whole system and giving tone to tho digestive organs. $They are highly recommended as an invigorating tonic to mothers nursing, increasing the flow of milk, and for con. valesconts, to restore the prostration which always follows long-continued sickness they are unsurpassed.
