Child Gobed by a Cow.— afternoon a Jlttle girl of eleven years, child of Mrs, Wolfe, residing qb Lafayette street, near Seventh, stepped outside the gate, when it was attacked by a cow. Before it could get out of the way tho cow ^inserted one of her hojrns in the child arm, literally stripping_the fl^sh from one side to the bone, from the elbot? to near the shoulder. Dr. Steifel was called in, who dressed the terrible wound, and as much as possible alleviated the pain of the littlo sufferer. —r f%
