The Recorder of Marion County put on record, on the 6th hist.,
solidated sinking fund bonds, the amount pf which was $16,000,000. The stamps
elose communion with General Logan.— Thore are two things to destroy the "sen sational" in this dispatch. Gen. Wallace is not a member of that organization, and furthermore be went to that city on business of a purely private nature. His appearance on the scene of action about the time of tbe Johnson-Stanton imbroglio probably gave rise to that dispatch*-
The peculiar beauties of mob
"justice'
are illustrated by tbe following: Oar headers will recollect the circumstances attending the robbery of an old man's house in the neighborhood of Greenwood, Johnson county, the result of which was that the old gentleman was shot by-tbe burglars, and died in about two days, Two men were arrested for the murder, and confined in the jail at Franklin, from Which they were taken by a Greenwood tnob and hanged. One of the suspected jnurderers stoutly declared his innocence ft tbe time, and agonizingly begged for time at the hands of his merciless judges to say his prayers and have the fninistrations of a prea6her. His request was refused, and he was strung up, alongside of the one who is y.et believed to hurp been guilty of the murder. Circumstances have since
