FatalAccident.—Henry Montgomery a citizen of Parke county, was killed Friday last, a short distance this sid« of the line dividing that county and this. His horse? ran away, and in going down a steep hill tho wagon turned over, breaking tho nock of the unfortunate man, and of course, causing instant death. Coroner Merry held an'inqiiest on the body,return^ ing a verdict in accordance with the' above facts.

tSf At meeting of ex-officers of the Army of the Cumberland, at Marion county court-house, on Friday evening, a resolution was adopted, asking all officers in the State who desired to attend thp Cincinnati mooting, to send their nameg to Col. C. U. Hinos, Col. J. W. Blake or Maj. Howland that the necessary provis ions for their transportation, etc., maybe promptly made.

Dowling Hall. To-morrow, Tues* day, night, will welcome the reappoaranae of Prof, and Madame Macallister, the groat Illusionists. A New Dodoe.—Shortly before dinner last Friday, a neatly dressed and well appearing young man, who gave his name as A. F. Wiles, and said he was going t» "open a drug store" in this city, applied at Mr. Kellogg's boarding house, cornor Fifth and Walnut streets, for board. About four o'clock he came down and passed out, cince which time lie has not been seen at that boarding house, nor has Mr. Rodney Maguire, who was to be his roommate had the pleasure of looking upon his best Sunday suit of clothes, breastpin and a lot of loose change belonging to 'another boarder went the suit of clothes.
