'We learn a large and extensive revival is in progress in the neighboring village of Vermillion, a few miles west of this city, under the ministration of Bev. Joel Nye. Over sixty persons have bpen added to the church,

Frederick Frick, a farmer living near Blairsville, Posey county, while digging a well on his premises, came to a rocky substance, which he had to drill for the purpose of blasting. After setting fire to the fuse, the charge suddenly exploded, throwing him more than half way up the well, causing a fracture of the left leg, snd the loss of the sight of both eyes.

Lodge of the order of Good Templars, of North America will hold its next annual meeting at Richmond, Ibd., beginning on the u7th of May. It was expected that tho meeting would be held at Poughkeepsie, New York, heavy inducements having been held out for going there but riraumstances having changed, Richmond was selected.
