The Urst part of tho above resolution ful lyyexpipins itself. The Vice Presidents and members, of the Executivo Com.uittee wero selected "by ti^o Union at Lafayette, because they wero believed to bo earnest workers and dovotod to the great interjjsts.of the Sabbath School. Brethren let iio dfono be fpund in the hive. Let us see that our duty is fully performed. As to tho importance and nocessity for immediate and thorough organiiation, tho experience "of every practical pc rs is a satis fa argument, and it'seems almost useless to ofF.sr any reasons, as tho neces» eity of such organisation is so apparont.

The following may prove suggestive of other and better reasons, and may urge to prompt action

We need this thorough county organization 1. Bebnfe.0 Sabbath Sobbols must of necessity be extend to every neighborhood. As the results of this labor are for the boneflt of tho individual, tn each must the advantage of tho school bo given, j.. 3. Because, by the sympathy ofqyimbers, many are'influenced, who, were the ause weak and feeble, might possibly turn away. 3. Because, without such organisation, wo may not be aJvfeed of tho wants and requirements of every portion of the State, and, therefore, not accomplish the sjood vve might, ,-wpce full and complete information in our possession. 4. Because there are now no data showing tho condition of Sabbath school labor throughout- tho State, consequently the relation of this valuable aid to tho church cannot ho definitely ascertained, 5. Because nore than two thousand seven hundred .Schools failed to report to the Statistical Secretary of tho last State convention-their numbers, condition and progress no reports being received from ihlrty-thraa mtiw counties, while nineteen counties report but one school each. If the s'ntHtiqs reported in the proceedings of thal *tn7'eplion were taken as a truo exhibit of our Sabbath schools, it would disgrace Indiana. We know that ovewtr te ChfiaiiaB «nrneitly d*iir«_the history cf our Sabbath school labors to be correctly recorded. We must remedy any apparent defeats, and have this departmontA four Start) ''ft t" oh Fc ta history pro perly written Jiy.those rtfbosa constant ef torts are employtd ill Snbb-ith schools.6 Btscaise by thus organizing, a healthy and profitable emulation in the woulji jae established betwoon the various counties. 7, Bccnaso «s officers, teachers, and friends of Sabbath schools, we need to extend our flcquji tance,. conlrib-.ita our ax perierfie, ntici avail ourielvca of the expeence of others in order fully to qualify omac^rm for th- I*for allotted us.

Finally,Sjveryvvhero that counties are thus organised, blessings have invariably resulted to every one participating :n tbe tpc^rcis^l of t£j aroctir.Ktj'wid t'ie laborer«j of the toacher« artel officers have Seen
