Among the many attractions of the city of Indianapolis, is the new and ratidly improving Cemetery of Crown Hili. The material known as Scotch Granite is con to form an impo'tant item in the adornment of these beautiful grounds.

Among the monuments to be put up there this season, area large family monuuiont by Mr. Bates one for the late Robert Walpole, of blue Scotch Granite one by Rev. Mr. Marshall, and two by Messrs. Alfred and J. C. S. Harrison, both of whom tako'down monuments of the best Italian marble, to replace them by the more enduring material,

Colonel Nolson Trueler, Secretary of State, lias a.so ordered a family monument of the same.

All this work is contrurted for, and is to be put up by Messrs. A. & G. Dodds, 01 Xenia, Obi •, who are engaged in im pi rting a large quantity of monuments tnia beatiful and durable material, and •vho are well known as reliable men and first c'ass desiuners.

James Wilson, Esq., is agent for these monuments in this city and vicinity.
