THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24, 1811.,

CflHHUTEE TO FIX QUOTAS FOR WAR FUND

Industrial Organizations And Individuals Will Be Assessed Tor Support of War Needs.

When the drive for a doubled income for the Vigo county war fund starts early in November it is probable that every large industrial origan ization will be made acquainted with the sum that, it expected from it and its employes.

The organization committee has taken steps to flx the quotas of these organizations, as well as the various city districts and townships, the firft step being the appointment of a quota committee consisting of Fred R. Waldron, S. II. McClary and Frank .Hanisch. These men started to work today to work out & system by which the quotas will be equitably distributed in orrler to provide the full amount that will be needed by the war "fund to take care of the greatly increased demands upon it during the coming year,

Under the old system some Wg industrial institutions were pretty well represented in the membership whilts others were not. Under this system of quotas it is believed that the burden will be passed around in the fairest possible way. In a few uays It probably will be decided on Just what basis these quotas will be decided, but the basis that obtains for one will be the basis for all. The opinion most generally held in the organization is that all quotas be fixed at two per cent of the pay roll.

This is one of the matters that Will be worked out in advance or me uiive and even of- the preliminary week of organization preceding the drive. Everything possible is t.o be done before Nov. 1, for on Nov. 4 the organization will take up its headquarters in a first floor room in Wabash avenue. This room probably will be officially known as The Hut, and it is probable that a false entrance will be constructed over the sidewalk giving it the outward aspect of an army hut.

Inside this room there are to be facilities for the transaction of ail of the work of the drive. There will be desks,, not only for the general officers, but fur the captains as well, and it is probable that there will bo €aily meetings at noon with all of the captains in order that an accurate check may be kept on the progress of the drive.

This effort will (lilTer materially from the initial one which marked the organization of the war fund. In that an effort will be made to get from every person and every organization the exact amount of pledges that each •should in justice give. Also industrial enterprises that have not heretofore been contributing will be asked to take out memberships as their sizes warrant. The quotas for each business will be fixed bv a committeo in advance of the start of tho drive.

Save Your Hair! Double Its Beauty In a Few Moments. Try Xhisl

Hair Stops Coming Out And Every Particle of Dandruff Disappears.

Try as you will, after an application of Danderine, you can notrfind a single trace of dandruff or falling hair and your scalp will not itch, but what will please you most, will be after a few weeks' use, when you see new hair, fine and downy at first—yes—but really new hair—growing all over the scalp.

A little Danderine immediately doubles the beauty of your hair. No difference how dull, faded, brittle and scraggy, juts moisten a cloth with Danderine and carefully draw it through your hair, taking one small strand at a time. The effect is immediate and amazing—your hair will be light, fluffy and wavy, and have an appearance of abundance, an incomparable lustre, softness and luxuriance, the beauty and shimmer of true hair health.

Get a small bottle of Kuowlton's Danderine from^any drug store or toilet counter for a few cents and prove that your hair is as pretty and soft as any—that it has been neglected or injured by careless treatment—that's all.

Danderine is to the hair what fresh showers of rain and sunshine are to vegetation. It goes right to the roots, invigorates and strengthens them. Its exhilarating, stimulating and life-pro-ducing properties cause the hair to grow long, strong and beautiful.—Adv.

"Oh, no,.I ibathe a dining car." Helen repressed a caustic retort. That Carrie should cxpect a six o'clock breakfast! Because she lived in the suburbs was no excuse for always making a convenience of them. Since she is taking the seven o'clock train for Philadelphia—why had she not gone to a hotel near the station? "Repeat that address," demanded arren over the phone. "That's right now six-fifteen sharp!" "Carrie wants breakfast here," observed Helen as he turned from the desk.'
