f| FROM nxTiir stbapch. In France. Mr. Sam Strauch.

Dear DaA:—At this writing we are Pushing: the Germans back and I think jit is. the beginning of the end. We are .located near a ^aflroad here and if you

Sould see the way they are rushing itroops to the front it would surprise |#ou. There is about five weeks of good lighting weather yet, and I look for our t-'troops to make a big drive. If it sucseeds it will shorten the war by about j*ix months.

I haven't received the package from vSimbel's. but will in a few days. All of our boys hope that the Fifth "Liberty Loan is a big success, and •.about 90 per cent of us are going to 1 buy one bond at least. Don't worry ?»bout me falling in love with any of the** French women. I can't see them.

The other day I ran a nail into my hand and, I was given an anti-lockjaw inoculatirsh and it certainly i!» a big jane. The army looks after our health
