Plans Made for Exhibit of Products October 12-14—Stock Display Considered.

BLOOMF1ELD, Ind., Sept. 23.—A mass meeting was held last evening to consider plans and provide means for holding a county products exhibit at Bloomfield, October 12, 13 and 14. Products of every kind from the various townships will be on display in county fair fashion. One day will probably be set aside as live stock day.

C. H. Johnson and Mrs. D. McCalip Are United in Marriage. By Special Correspondent.
WAVELAND, Ind., Sept. 23—Charles H. Johnson, of this place, and Mrs. Delia McCalip, of Crawfordsville, Were married at the home of Mr. Johnson's sister Mrs. Allen Eastlack, in Crawfordsville, Rev. John Moss, pastor of the Christian church, officiating. After a short wedding trip they will be at home on North Greene street. Mrs. McCalip is the widow of Curtis McCalip, a conductor on the Ben Hur traction line, who was killed in the north part of Indianapolis. Mr. Johnson is cashier arid one of the principal stockholders in the State bank of Waveland.

NEW PARALYSIS CASE.
Three Schools Near filewton Closed on Account of Contagion. By Special Correspondent.
NEWTON, 111., Sept. 23.—The Service Hill, Hesler and Kibler schools near Gila have been closed owing to the development of the second case of infantile paralysis, in that part of the country. The new victim is Harry Shumard, 14 year.old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles _Shumard. The case appears to be in a mild form.
Businesses Transferred.
By Special Correspondent. NEWTON, 111., Sept. 23.—Roy Levitt has exchanged the Busy Bee restaurant to Otto Brunner for the tatter's hotel business.* For the present Levitt is carrying mail for Brunner between the office and depot.
Doctor Loses Suit Case.
By Special Correspondent. NEWTON, 111., Sept. 33.—Dr. E. M. Lord, who recently located in this city for the practice of osteopathy, had a suit case containing valuables amounting to $50 stolen from the Union depot in St. Louis, while in that city on business.
