Chairman Moorhead Announces Xdst of Those Who Will Be Heard Here Next Month.
The case of President Wilson is to be presented to the voters of Vigo county by some of the foremost speakers in the country, according to advices retived by County Chairman Moorhead.
Beginning Thursday evening with the meeting in the democratic hea'd' quarters, Vigo county democrats will launch one of the most thorough campaigns which has ever been made in this territory, and the system which has been perfected by the county organization under the direction of County Chairman George M. Moorhead will enable every democrat to attend at least a majority of the meetings and will enable every voter in the county to acquaint himself with the principles on which the race is to be made this fall. Thursday evening's meeting will be In the nature of get-together affair, where the voters will be adressed by the county oandidates. After that weekly meetings will be held in the headquarters rooms in the Young building In Ohio street, and it is the intention of those in charge to bring some of the best speakers of the country here for the program.
Some Noted Speakers.
Among the speakers available Ollle James of Kentucky Champ Clark Senator James Hamilton Lewis Senator Thomas Gore, Senator Hoke Smith, Samuel Gompers, president of the American Federation of Labor Oscar Underwood J. B. Wilson, secretary of labor Senator Colby of New York Senator Kern Meredith Nicholson Judge Wiliam EI Eichorn M. C. Thornton E. E. Slack, United States attorney Lincoln Dixon Fred Feick, chairman of the legislative committee of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, and Frank E. Butler, attorney of Peru.

Mr. Wells will address the young democrats at their meeting at head quarters Friday evening on "Duty and Benefits." His talk will be divided into three parts: First, the interest in this campaign, which will show the work accomplished under the past four years of democratic administration, including the passage of important laws favoring the working man, the passage of the new currency law and the new school laws. The second proposition will be the benefits to the party by their work, showing that the active work of any campaign, to a great extent, is done by the men between the ages of 21 and 30 years, due to the fact that they are physically able to get out more and to meet more of the voters and the fact that their ideas are along newer lines and able to meet the newer conditions and third, the benefits to be derived by the young -voters from their active work In the campaign.
Candidates Speak.

The purchase of new school property and the addition of two more teachers made it imperative to raise the rate for this year. Mr. Powers says this rate is the lowest of any township rate in the county and compares favorably with any township rate in the state.
