Old Police Patrbi is Transformed Into Chemical Wagon. The work of converting the old auto police patrol into a combination hose and chemical fire wagon was completed by the O'Brien and O'Connell company Wednesday and turned over to the board of safety. The new Are wagon will be stationed at the headquarters company, displacing the auto fire wagon built by O'Brien and O'Connell several years ago. The machine will be sent to the No. 1 fire house at Third street and Lafayette avenue. It was the first motor driven fire apparatus to be used in the state of Indiana and is still in good condition.
STILL AFTER HENRY FORD. CHICAGO. 111., July 12.—Henrd Ford may be the prohibition nominee when the convention meets in St. Paul, July 18. If Ford declines it will be either Frank Hanly or Eugene Foss. William Sulzer has been mentioned in the same connection.
