Hopes Women Will Adopt This Habit As Well As Men

Glass of hot water each morning helps us look and feel clean, sweet, fresh.

Happy, bright, alert—vigorous and vivacious—a good clear skin a natural, rosy complexion and freedom from illness are assured only by clean, healthy blood. If only every woman and likewise every man could realize the wonders of the morning inside bath, what a gratifying change would take tflace.

Instead of the thousands of sickly, anaemic-looking men, women and girls with pasty or muddy complexions instead of the multitudes of "nerve wrecks," "rundowns," "brain fags" and pessimists we should see a'virile, optimistic throng of rosy-cheeked people everywhere.

An 'inside bath is had by drinking, each morning before breakfast, a glass of real hot water with a teaspoonful of limestone phosphate in it to wash from the stomach, liver, kidneys and ten yards of bowels the previous day's indigestible waste, sour fermentations and poisons, thus cleansing, sweetening and freshening the entire alimentary canal before putting more foot into the stomach.

Those subject to sick headache, biliousness, nasty breath, rheumatism, colds and particularly those who have a pallid, sallow oompexion and who are constipated very often, are urged to obtain a quarter pound of limestone phosphate at the drug store which will cost but a trifle but is sufficient to demonstrate the quick and remarkable change in both health and appearance awaiting those who practice internal sanitation. We must remember that inside cleanliness is more important than outside, because the skin does not absorb impurities to contaminate the blood, while the pores in the thirty feet of bowels do.

FRUIT SYRUPS SOAR AS SUMMER OPENS UP

Soda Fountains Hit By War Just As Warm Weather Brings Prospects of Business Bush.

Current reports that the market for several of the rare drugs, which have recently gone almost out of reason in price, had experienced a sudden drop in prices were declared incorrect Wednesday by one of the local wholesale drug dealers. On the other hand1 it was shown that within the last week many of the articles dispensed by the drug houses had taken a decided increase in price, all, of course, due to the war.

The most recent development in prices In the drug line has been In the concentrated fruit syrups used at the soda fountains. Two weeks ago this ,• articles sold at $6.50 per dozen quarts while now the price for the same amount is $7.25, a gain of more than 20 per cent. Rock candy and rock candy syrup which is also used at soda fountains have increased per cent.

Many of the Ingredients of various Insect powders have increased from 20 to SO per cent,' according to the brandB. Paris green has raised In price more than 10 per cent over the prioe of last year and white halibor, one of the important drug necessities, has Increased from 15 to 50 cents per pound. Sulphur has gone up about 20 per cent over the price of last year.

One of the most important ingredients used in ointments and salves for skin diseases is icthyol, which within the last few months has increased in price from 32 cents per ounce to'$1.75 per ounce wholesale. Other drugs used in prescriptions such as bismuth, iodides, bromides and potashes are steadily increasing in price. "There have been a few slight decreases in the price of some of the drugs but not enough to effect in any way the retail prices," said one of the local dealers. "As they, stand now our prices are almost out of re^on and we cap get no assurances of further orders, --'and the manufacturing firms are already cutting our orders for many of j6ur chief commodities."
